MAC Boosters is an organization of LCC Parents and individuals committed to raising funds to support the educational needs of students aimed primarily at the classroom. MAC operates within the La Costa Canyon High School Foundation. 100% of all funds that are raised and donated are directed to the classroom through an annual mini-grant process.
MAC Boosters also supplies all classrooms with Care Packages at the beginning of the academic year with necessities like tissues and office supplies. Please give generously as your student will benefit!
New parent members are always welcome. MAC Boosters meets the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm in the Conference Room of the Administration Building. (Click here for meeting schedule.)
Funding for the mini-grants comes through donations and successful partnerships with companies in our community. A portion of all business from LCC students is donated to the MAC fund. Please support LCC Academics by doing business with our partners!
Revolution Prep SAT preparation course
Revolution Prep will be offering their six week SAT prep course at LCC in preparation for the May 5th SAT exam. The course, which starts Saturday, March 10th, includes 18 hours of instruction and five full-length practice tests. The exams will be Saturdays from 9am – 1pm and the Thursday classes will be from 6pm – 9pm. For more information or to enroll, go to www.revolutionprep.com or call 1-877-738-7737. Catalyst Bootcamp for the SAT on April 28th & 29th
LCC’s Maverick Academic Boosters (MAC) is offering both the Catalyst SAT Bootcamp and the Catalyst ACT Bootcamp. The two-day course teaches your student a strategy for every type of question guaranteed to be on the exam, how to avoid the most common traps, and how to write a perfect-score essay—no matter what question is asked. The classes are both Saturday and Sunday from 9am-1pm on the LCC campus. The cost is $165 and is from 9am-1pm. Sign up early at www.CatalystPrep.com or call Mark at 800-235-0056 x204.
