The La Costa High School Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1996 to bring parents and the local community together to support La Costa Canyon High School financially. Over the past 14 years, the Foundation has provided over $10 million in support of athletics, academics and the arts. The Foundation manages all outside fund raising activities, and serves as the umbrella organization for Academic Boosters, Athletic Boosters, Visual and Performing Art Boosters, Band Boosters, Thespians, and Speech and Debate.
The Foundation raises funds through parent donations, and special event fund raising activities. Each year mini grants are provided for all teachers up to $250 for supplies. The Foundation has a grants committee that reviews requests from all academic departments on campus greater than $250 with the administrative staff, and allocates financial support based upon need and the number of students impacted.

2010-11 Foundation Board of Directors Meeting Dates
The Board meetings are held in the LCC Administration Conference room at 6:30 PM. Location and time may change. The location, time and agenda will be posted at the foundation office. Scheduled Meeting Dates: Sept. 8th, Oct. 13th, Nov. 10th, Dec. 8th, Jan. 10th, Feb. 14th, Mar. 14th, Apr. 18th, May 9th, June 13th.
